Job Summary
Leading the ISSI-platform engineering organization, the remote Director of Engineering will own the strategic direction and operational execution while managing multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and driving a culture of technical excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Own the strategic and operational roadmap for the engineering organization, translating business strategy into departmental goals and plans
- Lead and develop a team of managers and individual contributors, ensuring consistent performance management and career development
- Manage the department's budget, headcount, and resource planning, reporting on KPIs and business outcomes to executive leadership
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven ability to balance strategic platform investment with delivery commitments and business priorities
- Experience using generative AI tools to enhance productivity and quality outcomes
- Strong background in building and scaling SaaS applications and leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
