Director of Engineering
Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and people-focused Director of Engineering, this full-time remote position will lead and scale the engineering organization, develop engineering leaders, and ensure successful execution of the product roadmap while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering Managers and technical leaders to optimize team performance and delivery
- Own engineering execution and delivery against company objectives, product roadmaps, and strategic initiatives
- Define and evolve technical strategy, architecture, and platform reliability in collaboration with engineering leaders
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant experience leading and scaling engineering teams
- 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing Engineering Managers or multiple engineering teams
- Proven success in software delivery within a SaaS or technology-driven organization
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and modern engineering practices
- Experience managing cross-functional relationships and influencing decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups
