Director of Engineering
Job Summary
Leading the Corporate Giving domain, the full-time salaried Director of Engineering will build and manage a high-performing engineering organization, oversee product roadmaps, and ensure compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead the Corporate Giving engineering organization, scaling from an early-stage team to a fully staffed, high-performing domain
- Own the technical direction and product roadmap for Corporate Giving, including the migration to a new disbursement service
- Ensure delivery outcomes across the domain by setting clear goals and coordinating inter-team dependencies
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership at the Director level or equivalent
- Proven track record of building and scaling multi-team engineering organizations
- Experience owning or co-owning a product roadmap alongside product leadership
- Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js and AWS serverless infrastructure
- Experience with compliance programs at scale (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or equivalent)
