Director of Engineering
Job Summary
To lead and grow the engineering organization, the remote full-time Director of Engineering will manage high-performing teams, define technical strategy, and ensure the delivery of impactful products for millions of customers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team while fostering an environment for optimal performance
- Partner with the CTO and other leaders to define and execute the technical strategy and engineering roadmap
- Oversee engineering execution across multiple teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on leading engineering teams
- Proven experience managing and developing engineering managers and senior engineers
- Strong fundamentals in Computer Science and software engineering
- Experience in building and scaling reliable, customer-facing software products
- Ability to design and evolve distributed systems as products and companies scale
