Job Summary
Leading multiple engineering teams in a fully remote capacity, the full-time salaried Director of Engineering will oversee technology strategy and architecture while ensuring effective execution of engineering initiatives and building organizational capability across the engineering domain.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders across various teams
- Translate company strategy into actionable technology roadmaps and delivery plans in collaboration with Product and business leaders
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of systems and services
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience leading engineering teams
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, managing Engineering Managers or multiple engineering teams
- Strong technical background in software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud platforms
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and executable plans
- Experience with workforce planning, organizational design, and capacity planning in a high-growth environment
