Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading multiple cross-functional engineering teams, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will be accountable for the technical delivery and operational success of an AI-driven platform within complex healthcare ecosystems, mentoring managers and overseeing data ingestion, product configuration, and AI agent deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Scale and govern multiple customer-facing engineering teams, optimizing resource allocation across healthcare clients
• Empower teams to own and execute comprehensive implementation delivery plans, focusing on business and clinical metrics
• Oversee the development and deployment of AI agents while ensuring clinical data integrity and compliance

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, technical consulting, or enterprise systems architecture
• 5+ years of experience in the US Healthcare, HealthTech, or Digital Health sectors
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing multiple customer-facing technical delivery teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in healthcare protocols such as HL7, FHIR, and data engineering stack management
