Director of Enterprise Architecture
Job Summary
To lead the technical direction and scale the engineering organization, the contract Director of Enterprise Architecture will manage complex architecture decisions, oversee engineering systems, and build trusted client partnerships, all while working remotely in Canada or the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Set enterprise architecture strategy and lead complex architecture decisions across Kicksaw's client portfolio
- Build and drive adoption of standardized engineering operating systems, including CI/CD and security compliance
- Directly manage engineers and technical leaders, ensuring team development and accountability for performance
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technical consulting, with leadership experience
- Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, including Apex and integration technologies
- Strong engineering fluency beyond Salesforce, including Python, APIs, and automation
- Experience with production AI systems and secure systems in regulated environments
- Significant people-management experience, with a record of scaling engineering organizations
