Director of Enterprise Security

Job Summary

Building and shaping security operations, the full-time remote Director of Enterprise Security will manage a high-performing team, lead incident response efforts, and define the enterprise security function while ensuring the protection of patient data.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a security operations team, conducting technical sprint planning and coaching
• Design and implement the enterprise security function, including team structure and long-term roadmap
• Own detection engineering and incident response, managing security incidents from triage to post-incident review

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in security operations, detection and response, or cloud security, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Hands-on incident response experience across various platforms, including logs, endpoints, and cloud environments
• Experience with detection rules and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, ideally in a detection-as-code model
• Strong scripting or programming skills and a history of building automation tools for security teams
• Deep experience with security platforms such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, and CSPM
