Director of Enterprise Security

Job Summary

To transform security operations, the full-time Director of Enterprise Security will lead efforts in security strategy, operations, and compliance, focusing on integrating security into product delivery and day-to-day operations while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and implement the enterprise security strategy, emphasizing automation and managed services to enhance efficiency
• Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and oversee incident response and threat intelligence programs
• Manage compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations like PCI DSS and telecom obligations while fostering a culture of continuous compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven track record of embedding security practices within DevSecOps frameworks
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management, governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
