Director of Epidemiology
Job Summary
Leading high-impact research for biopharma partners, the full-time remote Director of Epidemiology will develop and validate novel epidemiological methods, oversee retrospective database analyses, and serve as a subject matter expert to drive innovation in real-world evidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of novel approaches for real-world evidence, including external control arms and causal inference in high-dimensional data
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of retrospective database analyses and act as the primary architect for study protocols
- Serve as a subject matter expert for biopharma clients, contributing to high-impact publications and presentations at scientific conferences
Required Qualifications
- PhD (preferred) or PharmD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 7+ years in HEOR/RWE, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Deep expertise in oncology is required
- Proven track record of developing or implementing advanced methodologies in epidemiology
- Advanced skills in R or SAS with experience in handling real-world data
