Director of Finance
Job Summary
To support the launch of Ledgebrook's new third-party hybrid fronting carrier, the remote Director of Finance will build and oversee the finance and accounting infrastructure, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while collaborating with various teams on bordereaux data and financial assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Establish the chart of accounts and month-end close process aligned with NAIC requirements
- Review and approve incoming MGA and TPA bordereaux with the Operations and Claims team
- Ensure accurate statutory accounting and reporting, maintaining the integrity of financial data across partners
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in P&C insurance finance/accounting, including STAT and GAAP reporting
- Direct experience with reinsurance accounting and delegated underwriting authority programs
- Background in establishing finance infrastructure at new or early-stage carriers
- CPA with expertise in P&C statutory accounting is preferred
- Experience with AM Best BCAR submissions is a plus
