Job Summary
Leading the accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, and forecasting functions, the full-time remote Director of Finance will manage the monthly close, annual audits, and employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), while overseeing a Senior Accounting Manager and the accounting team.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and lead the annual external audit
- Build and manage monthly revenue forecasts and lead the annual budgeting process with department heads
- Coordinate annual ESOP valuation and manage compliance for retirement plans, including 401(k) filings
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Director of Finance role
- Hands-on experience with monthly closes, external audits, and debt covenant compliance
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 340-40, preferably in a software or SaaS environment
- Experience building and managing driver-based forecasts and annual budgets
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, along with experience using an FP&A platform
