Director of Financial Planning
Job Summary
To shape the financial future of a rapidly-accelerating healthcare company, the remote Director of Financial Planning will manage the planning architecture, lead the annual budgeting cycle, and provide strategic insights to the executive team while mentoring the FP&A team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the company's planning strategy, including budget development and multi-year long-range planning
- Act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and CFO, providing recommendations on investments and operating priorities
- Build and maintain financial models and forecasts, delivering variance analysis and insights into business performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or related fields, with at least 4 years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of influencing executive decisions and hands-on model-building experience
- Experience negotiating vendor or commercial terms in a cost-constrained environment
- Strong command of Excel and modern planning tools; familiarity with SQL and BI tools is a plus
