Director of Financial Planning

Job Summary

Leading strategic planning and financial analysis activities, the full-time remote Director of Financial Planning will manage the development of financial models, oversee performance analysis, and implement standardized reporting processes to support executive decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the development, review, and refinement of financial reporting, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans across all business units
• Oversee monthly and quarterly performance analysis to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership decisions
• Prepare executive-level presentations and reports, including board materials, to communicate financial performance and strategic insights

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 additional years in a relevant functional area
• At least 6 years of management experience, including responsibilities for hiring, training, and managing performance of direct reports
• Demonstrated experience influencing senior management and working effectively with business partners and external auditors
• Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple large projects concurrently
• Superior analytical skills and a strong track record of achieving optimal results through influence
