Director of Foundation Relations

Job Summary

Leading the organization's institutional fundraising efforts, the remote full-time Director of Foundation Relations will manage a portfolio of foundation funders and prospects, aiming to expand a program that raises over $5 million annually, while supervising a team and ensuring high-quality grant materials are produced.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and lead strategy for the national foundations program, managing staff to achieve fundraising goals
• Manage relationships with foundation donors and prospects to secure over $5 million annually in support
• Lead a Foundations Team, mentoring staff and ensuring performance goals are met

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS, etc.) or equivalent
• 8-10 years of fundraising experience in a relevant field
• 2-3 years of management experience
• Proven success in securing six and seven-figure grants
• Experience managing a portfolio of 100+ foundations
