Director of FP&A

Job Summary

To support a growing insurance provider, the full-time remote Director of FP&A will build and lead the planning function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and decision support while partnering with the CFO on capital planning and new business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning calendar, including the annual operating plan and rolling forecast
• Design scalable FP&A processes and own the driver-based company model and P&Ls
• Run monthly business reviews with the executive team and manage cash, liquidity, and debt capacity forecasting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field
• 8+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or corporate development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience in building or scaling FP&A processes in a growing company
• Expertise in financial modeling, including three-statement models and capital structure
• Experience managing and developing analysts, with data fluency and familiarity with SQL
