Director of Fraud Strategy

Job Summary

Owning the fraud prevention outcomes across new account, first-party, and transaction fraud, the full-time remote Director of Fraud Strategy will lead a team, define fraud controls, and serve as the internal expert on fraud strategy within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own fraud loss outcomes and team performance across various fraud domains
• Lead and develop a team of fraud leads, ensuring alignment on fraud priorities
• Define and evolve the fraud controls framework while communicating fraud risk and strategy to executive stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a people leadership role with direct P&L or loss accountability
• Deep expertise in fraud prevention across multiple domains, including new account and transaction fraud
• Industry background in fintech, banking, or payments with a focus on financial fraud
• Technical proficiency in coding languages such as SQL, SAS, or Python
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and levels
