Director of Government Affairs

Job Summary

To build a robust Government Affairs function, the full-time remote Director of Advocacy will coordinate government affairs workstreams, engage with federal agencies and Congress, and develop strategic advocacy initiatives to ensure Pivotal Health's voice is effectively represented in healthcare policy discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and coordinate government affairs workstreams, including leading calls and tracking commitments
• Engage directly with federal agencies and congressional members on healthcare programs and policy
• Develop and advocate for clear points of view on policy issues, persuading stakeholders for change

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field
• Federal-level government affairs experience, including work with healthcare policy
• Direct experience engaging with members of Congress or congressional staff
• Proven track record of developing and advocating for clear policy positions
• Strong project management and organizational skills
