Director of HR and Compliance

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time remote Director of HR and Compliance will manage HR operations, lead recruitment efforts, and ensure employment compliance while partnering closely with leadership to facilitate organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate growth plans into workforce forecasts and recruiting priorities while building the recruiting function
• Own the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, and employee relations, while maintaining reliable people data
• Lead employment compliance efforts and prepare the organization for expansion into new states, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• HR leadership experience within a healthcare provider organization, particularly with Medicare beneficiaries
• Experience with healthcare regulatory compliance and workforce credentialing
• Understanding of multi-state employment requirements and organizational preparation for geographic expansion
• Hands-on experience with payroll, benefits, employee relations, and leave administration
• Strong people management skills with the ability to balance strategy and execution
