Director of Human Resources
Job Summary
To support a growing mission-driven team, the remote Director of Human Resources will oversee daily HR functions, lead a team of HR professionals, and collaborate with executive leadership to align workforce strategies with organizational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and execute workforce staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies
- Provides trusted HR counsel on employee relations, performance management, and organizational changes
- Oversees HR compliance, including policy development and adherence to employment laws and regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
- Preferred certifications: SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or HRCI Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR)
- Experience with an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is highly desired
- Proficient in administering human resources information systems (HRIS) and managing HRIS strategy
