Director of Human Resources

Job Summary

To support a growing nonprofit organization, the full-time salaried Director of Human Resources will oversee HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management, while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary internal HR leader and trusted advisor to the leadership team, developing strong partnerships with external HR providers
• Lead recruitment processes and enhance the employee lifecycle experience from onboarding to offboarding
• Manage employee relations matters and support performance management processes to foster a culture of feedback and accountability

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong background in multiple HR functions
• Experience as an HR business partner or internal HR leader in a similar organization
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
• Proven ability to manage sensitive employee relations matters with discretion
