Director of Information Security

Job Summary

Leading the security program for a global fertility and family care platform, the remote Director of Information Security will set the security strategy, manage corporate and product security, and serve as a key advisor on security posture to executives and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the security strategy and roadmap, prioritizing investments and reporting progress to executive leadership
• Oversee the full security program, including corporate security and product security, while ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks
• Collaborate with Engineering to integrate security practices into system design, development, and operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in technology, with at least 5 years in information security and 3 years in a leadership role
• Security certification such as CISSP or CISM
• Experience with healthcare data protection and privacy frameworks, including HIPAA and GDPR
• Strong knowledge of application, network, and cloud security, as well as enterprise security frameworks and audits
