Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time salaried Director of Infrastructure will lead and scale infrastructure systems for engineering and product organizations, ensuring reliability and performance across multiple cloud environments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define infrastructure strategy and execution, balancing long-term goals with operational needs
- Own platform infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of macOS and Linux fleets
- Lead operational reliability, participating in on-call rotations and troubleshooting complex issues
Required qualifications
- Strong depth in at least one low-level area (OS, cloud, or Kubernetes) with hands-on experience
- Proven track record of leading infrastructure initiatives while actively engaging in execution
- Experience managing and scaling Linux and macOS fleets, including automation and lifecycle operations
- Significant experience building scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
- Familiarity with developer infrastructure and business-critical services, including data pipelines and billing systems
