Job Summary
Leading a team of Material Scientists and Engineers, the full-time remote Director of Innovation will drive applied material science innovations for NA Fresh Food, focusing on the development and commercialization of material platforms while collaborating with various departments to ensure technical feasibility and market relevance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and commercialization of material science platforms for NA Fresh Food
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader for formulation development, statistical experimental design, and technical validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define Technology/Market Roadmaps and support project prioritization and commercialization handoffs
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemistry or related technical discipline required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in bringing new materials or technologies to market
- At least 5 years of experience leading high-performing technical teams
- Demonstrated experience in formulation development and statistical experimental design
- Experience in rigid plastics, foam packaging, and related technologies preferred
