Director of Internal Audit

Job Summary

Leading the internal audit function, the full-time salaried Director of Internal Audit will shape strategy, provide insights on risk management, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while working in a hybrid or remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes and evolves the enterprise internal audit strategy aligned with organizational priorities and risk landscape
• Oversees the end-to-end audit lifecycle, including planning, execution, reporting, and issue validation
• Acts as primary liaison to the Audit Committee, delivering insights and reporting on audit outcomes and key risks

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field with 6 years of internal audit or public accounting experience; or
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field with 8 years of internal audit or public accounting experience; or
• 10 years of internal audit or public accounting experience
• Property & Casualty or Excess & Surplus insurance industry experience
