Director of Investment Strategy
Job Summary
Collaborating closely with the Managing Director, the full-time salaried Director of Investment Strategy will support advisors in structuring investment proposals, enhance client engagement through tailored investment solutions, and lead the Investment Strategy team in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with advisors to develop investment and allocation proposals and deliver high-stakes presentations
- Lead the creation of investment proposals, collaborating on modeling, analytics, and effective messaging
- Act as a central contact to enhance connectivity between the Investment Strategy team and Mariner's internal strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of relevant experience in investments, wealth management, or a related field
- Proven expertise in allocation planning and structuring investments for diverse client objectives
- Successful track record in client-facing investment discussions, particularly with UHNW clients
- Advanced credentials such as MBA, CFA, or CAIA preferred
