Director of Live Operations
Job Summary
Leading the technical production-operations function, the full-time Director of Live Operations will ensure the availability and reliability of customer data services while managing 24x7 operational workflows and major incidents in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the 24x7 operational health and reliability of CDM-managed production data services and workflows
- Lead incident and problem management disciplines, including severity definitions and post-incident reviews
- Provide technical leadership for production services operating in AWS and guide infrastructure-as-code practices
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in production operations, cloud/platform operations, or a comparable high-availability technical environment
- 4+ years leading technical production operations or operations-engineering teams
- Strong working knowledge of AWS production environments and operational troubleshooting
- Experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code technologies
- Demonstrated success in automating manual production processes and improving reliability practices
