Director of Mainframe Systems

Job Summary

Leading a team of professionals, the full-time remote Director of Mainframe Systems will oversee the delivery of hardware and software lifecycle management projects, ensuring client satisfaction while leveraging mainframe technologies such as z/OS, DB2, and CICS.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the functional organization, managing multiple mainframe systems and projects
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical topics
• Utilize systems and data to track progress, drive outcomes, and ensure adherence to departmental and company goals

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven ability to manage teams across various functions and organizations
• Experience in diverse mainframe technical environments and familiarity with mainframe infrastructure and programming technologies
• Strong communication skills for leading at multiple organizational levels
• Experience in leading complex projects and programs, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project
