Director of Nutrition Compliance

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time salaried Director of Nutrition Compliance will lead labeling and nutrition compliance for meals and ingredient data, overseeing the source-to-label process and ensuring adherence to food safety and regulatory standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the labeling and nutrition compliance program, establishing standards consistent with applicable regulations
• Oversee the create, review, approve, and distribute (CRAD) labeling process, including governance and performance metrics
• Manage third-party laboratory validation and ensure compliance with ingredient data and product claims

Required qualifications

• Deep, practical experience in food-labeling regulations and nutrition compliance
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. FDA food-labeling requirements
• Experience with controlled workflows connecting supplier specifications and production execution
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear acceptance criteria and operating controls
• A degree in food science, nutrition, regulatory science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
