Director of PACS
Job Summary
To lead the strategy and operational excellence of enterprise imaging across approximately 180 outpatient imaging centers, the full-time remote Director of PACS will provide strategic leadership for PACS, Vendor Neutral Archive, and related imaging systems while ensuring alignment with clinical and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term enterprise imaging strategies to support organizational growth and operational efficiency
- Lead complex technology implementations, upgrades, and integrations to enhance imaging capabilities and performance
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure service excellence and accountability in imaging operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, Radiologic Sciences, or a related field required
- 10+ years of experience in PACS and enterprise imaging environments
- 5+ years of leadership experience in managing technical or imaging informatics teams
- Extensive knowledge of PACS, VNA, DICOM, HL7, and healthcare interoperability standards
- Experience with multi-site healthcare organizations and large-scale outpatient imaging operations preferred
