Director of Patient Engagement

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership for field-based patient engagement and advocacy, the full-time remote Director of Patient Engagement will develop and execute state and grassroots engagement strategies for Endocrinology therapeutic programs, fostering partnerships with advocacy organizations and ensuring local patient perspectives inform business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of patient engagement strategies aligned with enterprise priorities and local community needs
• Develop long-term partnerships with state and grassroots advocacy organizations to strengthen Neurocrine's reputation within local patient communities
• Generate actionable community insights through local engagement activities and serve as a conduit for translating these insights into enterprise strategy

Required qualifications

• High school diploma with 16+ years of relevant experience, or a BS/BA degree with 12+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or with patient advocacy organizations is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to develop partnerships with state, regional, or grassroots patient advocacy organizations
• Strong understanding of field-based commercial, medical, market access, and government affairs interactions with patient communities
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without formal authority
