Director of People Operations
Job Summary
To build the operational and strategic backbone of the People function, the full-time salaried Director of People Operations will lead a team of People Operations Partners and Generalists while acting as a strategic partner to business leaders in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end People Operations by building infrastructure, processes, and tools to support scaling across various categories
- Design and implement performance management, succession planning, and workforce planning frameworks that align individual goals with business priorities
- Develop retention, culture, and employee engagement strategies while ensuring compliance with employment laws across a multi-state remote workforce
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
- Proven track record in building and scaling People Operations infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
