Director of People Operations
Job Summary
Leading a global team, the full-time Director of People Operations will manage the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, and recruitment, all while working remotely within the continental USA.
Key responsibilities
- Advise the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
- Handle complex employee relations matters and oversee people operations, including onboarding and compliance across multiple countries
- Lead hiring processes and develop the People Operations team while driving engagement and retention strategies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in People Operations and/or Talent Acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role at a global startup
- Hands-on technical recruiting experience, including senior and executive hires
- Experience with multi-state US and UK/EU employment practices
- Proven track record in managing sensitive employee relations and separations
- Proficiency with modern HR tools such as ATS (Ashby), HRIS (BambooHR), and PEO (Sequoia One)
