Director of Pharmacoepidemiology

Job Summary

To shape evidence-generation strategies that influence drug development and patient safety, the remote contract Director of Pharmacoepidemiology will lead the development and implementation of pharmacoepidemiology strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support regulatory filings and clinical development.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement pharmacoepidemiology strategies, including real-world evidence generation and regulatory-required studies
• Lead post-marketing commitments and evaluate the effectiveness of risk evaluation and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with various teams to design, implement, and analyze epidemiological studies and contribute to risk management plans

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with relevant industry experience in biotech or pharma
• Proven experience in the drug development process and navigating matrix organizations
• Strong collaboration skills with a results-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen with a track record of process improvement
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with urgency and strategic focus
