Director of Pharmacometrics
Job Summary
To support innovative drug development strategies, the full-time salaried Director of Pharmacometrics will lead population PK/PD modelling activities, provide strategic clinical pharmacology expertise, and mentor project teams while working directly with clients in a consulting environment.
Key responsibilities
- Leading population PK/PD and exposure-response modelling across multiple development programmes
- Providing strategic clinical pharmacology expertise to support key decision points throughout drug development
- Building long-term client relationships and contributing to business growth opportunities
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience in pharmacometrics and clinical pharmacology within biotech, pharma, or consulting environments
- Strong background in population PK/PD modelling and model-informed drug development
- Experience with regulatory submissions and health authority interactions
- Advanced proficiency with pharmacometric software such as NONMEM and R
- Previous experience mentoring scientists or leading project teams
