Director of Planning Systems
Job Summary
Leading the strategy and operational excellence for global retail and merchandise planning technology, the full-time hybrid Director of Planning Systems will manage planning-system transformation and serve as a key technology partner across various business areas to enhance sales and inventory productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the global Planning Systems strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Own the product vision and continuous improvement of planning platforms supporting Merchandise Financial Planning and Assortment Planning
- Lead planning-system implementations and modernization initiatives while establishing strong governance across business cases and solution design
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Retail Merchandising, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in retail planning technology or digital transformation initiatives with leadership responsibilities
- Deep expertise in retail Merchandise Financial Planning and Assortment Planning processes
- Proven experience with enterprise planning platforms such as o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, or Oracle Retail Planning
- Strong executive presence and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and build strategic partnerships
