Director of Planning Systems

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and operational excellence for global retail and merchandise planning technology, the full-time Director of Planning Systems will define and implement a multi-year roadmap, oversee planning platforms, and serve as a key technology partner across various business areas in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the global Planning Systems strategy and investment priorities aligned with business objectives
• Own the product vision and continuous improvement of planning platforms supporting Merchandise Financial Planning and Assortment Planning
• Lead planning-system implementations and establish governance across business cases and solution design

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Retail Merchandising, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in retail planning technology or digital transformation initiatives, including leadership roles
• Deep expertise in retail Merchandise Financial Planning and Assortment Planning processes
• Proven leadership of enterprise planning platforms, with strong preference for o9 Solutions experience
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and building strategic partnerships
