Director of PMO for Aviation

Job Summary

To lead major aviation and infrastructure programs, the full-time Director of PMO for Aviation will establish and manage the PMO framework, oversee program controls, and engage with stakeholders while working remotely across the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the PMO framework, governance model, and operating structure for aviation programs
• Oversee integrated program controls, ensuring accuracy of program data, baselines, forecasts, and KPIs
• Direct the program's risk management framework and lead the change management process, providing strategic recommendations to client leadership

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in program management, PMO leadership, or program controls for major capital programs
• Proven experience in aviation, transportation, or large infrastructure delivery
• Strong expertise in governance, program controls, reporting, and risk/change management
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences
