Director of Portfolio and Retail M&A

Job Summary

Leading strategic investment initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Portfolio and Retail M&A will develop and execute portfolio strategies, manage corporate retail acquisitions, and oversee real estate transactions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute investment and portfolio strategies aligned with long-term network growth and financial objectives
• Lead small-to-mid-sized corporate retail acquisitions and portfolio real estate transactions from evaluation through closing and integration
• Conduct financial evaluations and underwriting of acquisition opportunities, including valuation and investment recommendations

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail real estate, corporate development, M&A, or finance within a large, multi-site retail organization
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, law, or a related field
• Extensive experience in evaluating and executing complex real estate and M&A transactions
• Strong financial acumen, including valuation, financial modeling, and investment return metrics
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex transactions and cross-functional initiatives from evaluation to execution
