Director of Portfolio Valuation
Job Summary
Partnering with cross-functional teams, the full-time salaried Director of Portfolio Valuation will evaluate development strategies and investment alternatives while providing actionable recommendations to support strategic planning and resource allocation in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and assessment of program business cases and portfolio value
- Support stage-gate reviews and governance decisions through objective assessments of program value and risk
- Deliver insights that optimize portfolio management and support long-range planning and investment decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Decision Sciences, Operations Research, Engineering, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations
- 6+ years of experience in portfolio management, strategic planning, finance, or decision analysis
- Demonstrated experience in business case development and financial modeling
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical R&D, portfolio management, and product development
