Director of Power Generation
Job Summary
Leading the development of a power generation program, the full-time Director of Power Generation will manage strategy, technology selection, and contract negotiations to accelerate market readiness for data center campuses in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead the power generation strategy, ensuring alignment with customer and company needs
- Negotiate commercial contracts for power purchase agreements and energy services, while managing project interactions across various teams
- Analyze site selections for fuel supply infrastructure and power generation viability, supporting data center development projects
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in power generation and/or energy supply management
- Proven experience in complex commercial energy contract negotiations
- Experience with natural gas utility/pipeline agreements
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline
- Strong understanding of the transmission and distribution grid
