Job Summary

Leading a remote team of estimators, drafters, and preconstruction coordinators, the full-time salaried Director of Preconstruction will oversee preconstruction operations, ensuring successful project execution and workflow management while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a remote team, driving accountability and communication across distributed teams
• Oversee day-to-day estimating activities, ensuring accurate bid preparation and project handoffs
• Develop and maintain estimating standards and improve efficiency through systems and technology

Required qualifications

• Five years of experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, or a related leadership role
• Previous experience managing teams in a remote work environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration/project management tools
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience overseeing workflows and team accountability throughout the work week
