Director of Process Optimization

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership in a complex cross-functional environment, the full-time Director of Process Optimization will manage operations and resourcing, drive continuous process improvement, and oversee compliance initiatives while working remotely from Bucharest, Romania.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of cross-functional activities and initiatives to deliver strategic insights and recommendations for process improvement
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic business plans and optimize organizational performance
• Manage departmental staffing, budgeting, and long-term planning while providing coaching and performance feedback to staff

Required qualifications

• Life science graduate or healthcare-related qualification with extensive pharmacovigilance experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience in pharmacovigilance from a service provider environment
• Proven track record in process improvement and project management
• Advanced skills in process development and optimization, particularly in clinical and post-marketing pharmacovigilance
• Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus
