Director of Process Optimization

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership in a complex cross-functional environment, the full-time Director of Process Optimization will manage operations and resources to drive continuous process improvement and optimize organizational performance remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees a portfolio of cross-functional activities and initiatives, delivering strategic insights and recommendations for process improvement
• Collaborates with stakeholders to drive strategy execution and communications planning to meet business goals
• Manages staffing, budgeting, and long-term planning while ensuring effective recruitment and talent development within the department

Required qualifications

• Life science graduate or healthcare-related qualification with experience in pharmacovigilance
• Extensive leadership experience in pharmacovigilance from a service provider environment
• Proven track record in process improvement and project management
• Advanced skills in process development and improvement, particularly in clinical and post-marketing pharmacovigilance
• Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus
