Leading a significant annual addressable spend of approximately $29M, the full-time remote Director of Procurement will manage end-to-end operational sourcing strategies, drive cost-saving initiatives, and oversee vendor accountability across multiple fulfillment centers.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage ~$29M in annual addressable spend across 8 fulfillment centers, focusing on packaging, pallets, business services, and facility supplies
- Lead strategic RFP processes to secure cost-effective sourcing for pallets and corrugate materials
- Directly oversee on-site non-inventory teams and implement inventory control measures to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement management with a focus on significant spend ownership
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and execute RFPs
- Experience in vendor management and negotiation of master service agreements
- Strong background in operational leadership, particularly in supply chain or logistics environments
- Familiarity with procurement systems and operational controls
