Director of Procurement Strategy

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing infant nutrition company, the full-time salaried Director of Procurement Strategy will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for ingredients and packaging, oversee cost accounting processes, and manage the purchasing team while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure timely product launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Own supplier strategy and negotiate multi-year supply agreements for dairy and nutritional ingredients and packaging
• Establish cost accounting and PPV reporting systems to replace manual tracking methods
• Manage and develop the purchasing team, shifting focus from tactical buying to strategic supplier relationship management

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing, with experience in negotiating multi-year supply agreements in a regulated environment
• Experience in establishing or improving cost accounting or PPV processes
• Proficiency in working directly with ERP systems and building reporting structures
• Experience managing suppliers during new product launches with regulatory timelines
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, balancing strategy with team support
