Director of Product Design

Job Summary

Leading a multi-disciplinary Design and Research team, the full-time Director of Product Design will define and execute user experience strategies for digital products, ensuring intuitive and engaging customer experiences while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a vision for a high-performing Product Design and UX Research team, driving a user-first mindset across the organization
• Lead and manage a team of UX designers, researchers, and creative technologists, balancing strategic direction with efficient execution
• Oversee a structured research program to gather insights into customer needs and behaviors, translating findings into actionable design strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field
• 10+ years of design experience, with 7+ years in a leadership role managing multidisciplinary UX teams
• Proven track record of leading UX teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably within consumer or software technology
• Demonstrated experience managing design and research projects from concept to launch
• Experience building influential relationships at all levels of an organization and presenting to senior leaders
