Job Summary

Leading the design vision for the Engage team, the full-time Director of Product Design will manage the core product experiences at Ancestry, ensuring a cohesive and delightful customer journey while collaborating across functions to enhance user engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design vision and execution for the Engage team, ensuring cohesion across the customer journey
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to create a rich, connected user experience
• Guide a team of designers, fostering their growth as strategic thinkers and customer advocates

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in UX or product design, particularly in cross-functional environments
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Deep understanding of customer journey mapping and experience design
• Experience leading teams focused on user engagement and lifecycle design
• Strong foundation in human-centered design principles
