Job Summary

Leading a team of senior product designers, the full-time Director of Product Design will craft and execute a vision for product design at Beacon, focusing on both hardware and software experiences while ensuring design practices scale with the business in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of three senior product designers, fostering their professional growth and impact
• Develop and implement a comprehensive design vision that aligns with the company's growth and operational needs
• Establish and maintain processes and standards to ensure high-quality design outputs across various platforms and products

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
• Proven experience in building or maturing a design function within an organization
• A diverse portfolio showcasing both hardware and software design capabilities
• Familiarity with the medical device industry and experience navigating regulated environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in quality-sensitive contexts
