Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Director of Product Privacy, this role will manage legal compliance for AI products, advising cross-functional teams on privacy, data rights, and regulatory matters while working remotely or onsite in Lehi, Utah.
Key responsibilities
- Advise internal teams on product compliance throughout the product lifecycle, from design to deployment
- Provide legal guidance on privacy, data rights, and AI governance, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Manage cross-functional privacy-related projects and develop scalable privacy and AI review processes
Required qualifications
- J.D. with strong academic credentials and eligibility for State Bar or Registered In-House Counsel
- 8+ years of experience, including at least 5+ years in-house at a high-growth technology company
- Experience with compliance in U.S. and global telecommunications and industries like Healthcare and Automotive
- Required privacy certification, such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT
- Strong understanding of privacy laws, including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and TCPA
